I completely agree that healthcare organizations’ websites are becoming a part of the overall patient experience. We live in a digital world and a great website is not only good for providing visitors with the information they need in an easy to find and easy to understand way, I think it’s also a sign that the organization is conscious of and empathetic to their customers’ needs — and in healthcare, especially, that empathy is critical.

If healthcare marketing teams aren’t thoroughly convinced about content for good, or that a content strategy would get their key audiences to take action, they could simply consider how it would benefit themselves. To have a key stakeholder-approved strategy would mean they have a legitimate reason to decline or recast all those off-message demands and requests. So many winning reasons to have one.
